Elina Chernyak, D.O.
Elina Chernyak, DO, received her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007. She completed her Residency at Meadville Medical Center in Pennsylvania and received her certification from the American Board of Family Medicine in 2012. She completed her Fellowship in Addiction Medicine through Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio, in 2013. Elina Chernyak previously practiced as the Medical Director of the Utah County Department of Drug and Alcohol Prevention and Treatment. She is currently the Medical Director for WPAP and Tristate Behavioral Health.
As a dedicated medical professional with extensive experience in behavioral health, she has comprehensive expertise in all aspects of mental health care. With years of experience managing complex cases, she specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and neuropsychiatric conditions such as Alzheimer’s dementia.
Dr. Chernyak is board-certified by the American Board of Preventative Medicine, board-certified in Obesity Medicine, board-certified in Family Medicine, and board-certified in Addiction Medicine.
