Bernitta is a passionate and forward-thinking Family Nurse Practitioner who brings over 23 years of diverse nursing expertise to the healthcare table. Her journey has been shaped by a rich background that spans various healthcare settings including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Long-Term Acute Care, Hospice, Home Health, Post-Surgical Units, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Surgical Ortho, Trauma, and Psych. Throughout her career, she’s dedicated herself to providing compassionate and holistic care to patients with varying medical needs. Her hands-on experience has refined her clinical skills and given her a deep understanding of the intricacies of healthcare delivery in diverse environments.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Aspen University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and earned her Master of Science in Nursing, also graduating with honors from United States University. Bernitta is a native of Oklahoma City moving to Jacksonville in 2018. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, shopping, and trying new restaurants.
